well going to be quite warm here today so got up early and roasted my sweet potato for my chickpea and sweet potato patties (to be served with various salads and grilled haloumi and sliced leg ham for dinner)

Plum jam, trees are overloaded this year, will have to make 3 or 4 tonnes of it, then sauce as well...
my orders are to sit here and watch the world go by........

For me meatloaf with vegetables and mushroom sauce, that’s almost like gravy. A tradition with its roots in English “cuisine”, it’s made with Gravox and water cooked in the pan you fried the steak, whatever in.

when i make meatloaf i do them in mini loaf pans then I can freeze them (with carimalised onions and gravy for future meals
