Things I like

Interests:

Not much I am not interested in...we live in an amazing world with a lot to experience, and that is just on this little ball of rock and water! You name it, I probably would like to hear more about it... :D

Music:

Every song has it's own chance to catch my ear, either it does or it doesn't...there is nothing in particular that I listen to, I just enjoy music in and of itself.

Reading:

Love to read, from fiction to fact...though I do love Fantasy and Sci-Fi, but you're just as likely to catch me reading a book on science or philosophy, maybe a magazine or the paper...it doesn't really matter, but I really love biology, philosophy, history and literature.

Movies/TV:

Movies - something with substance, maybe Atonement...something epic, maybe Lord of the Rings...something gritty, maybe Watchmen. I enjoy anything well made and polished, but that said, I can have a good laugh at a silly comedy too.

TV - Don't watch too much TV, but if I am it will be a documentary or an interesting series in the same selection as my reading.

Food/dining:

Enjoy dining out, but more so for the conversation and the atmosphere than anything else...don't mind a nice imported beer or a nice drop of red or even a good scotch on the rocks, but nothing to excess.

Sports/fitness:

I used to cycle and swim a lot when I lived up north, but I do so less now...but it is something I have been keen to take up again. Mostly, I walk a lot and if I can I like to go on a hike or two once every few months. Love getting out to the bush as I grew up in the country, but it isn't the easiest thing to do when you live in the city.
