About me

I'm originally from the Uk but have been out here in Tasmania long enough to be a local- or so I'm told!

I'm pretty active and social and (mostly) enjoy my job but am looking forward to an easier one in the not too distant future. I'm pretty down to earth and direct and can't stand bs which I can smell from a mile away so don't even try that- it will make my blood run cold!

I love a chat and enjoy discussions about just about everything ... from the reason that clouds move in certain ways to the particular name of a certain movie star that I can't quite remeber the name of or occasionally I wax lyrical about the state of the world and get all deep and meaningful.

I really enjoy cooking and make a lot of pasta and thai food and occasionally the odd cake- I am a bit of a cake addict. Every cup of tea must at least have a biscuit to accompany it you know- them's the rules !

I really enjoy bush walking and exploring parts of Tasmania - either with friends or by myself. I was born by the sea and really enjoy beach walks or just fossiking for beach treasures.

I've got 2 grown up kids who are happy doing their own thing and have had my fair share of life experiences - so am wise to the ways of the world.

I'd really like to meet some like minded people and enjoy going and doing some things together- be that bush-walking, marketing, going to catch a movie - or play, going for a drive somewhere new or just catching up for an easy meal and chat.
