About me

I'm semi--retired and live an active lifestyle. I love the outdoors (walking, cycling, sailing and more) and as a scientist and sometime writer, I love the life of the mind and spirit as well. In truth, there are so many things I enjoy -- good food and wine, good films and music, travel, photography -- it seems silly to try to list them all; there certainly isn't time to do them all well! But in the end, for me, as Plato wrote, wholeness is through the physical, emotional, and intellectual union of man and woman. Even if we are not destined to be ultimate soul-mates, I would enjoy meeting someone to share some of what life has to offer. .
