About me

I'm the ultimate contradiction in some ways.
I'm social... and I'm a hermit. I'm organized and disorganized.... I'm neat... and I'm messy....49 years of age, work as a veterinary nurse.
I love animals of course, and I have quite a few, including my ponies who I show.
Massive sci fi fan, love everything from Star Trek, to Star Wars, The Mandalorian, The Expanse, Stargate, Sanctuary, Killjoys, Farscape....Firefly, Twilight saga - moreso the books than the movies.... but the movies too. etc...
I don't do horror movies. Love music, everything from 80s to country rock and European bands like Delain, Within Temptation, and Nightwish....
I can't cook to save my life.
I'm not all posh!
Looking for friends.... movie buddy.... online chat.... I can hold a decent conversation online....I have a good sense of humour..... but feeling lonely these days, and it can get you down.
Just realized that most of my photos of me have horses in them...sorry :)
PS - I'm not interested in finding Jesus, although I am respectful of other people's beliefs.

Things I like

Interests:: Horses, breeding and showing - I used to ride but gave it away ten years ago... I think about riding though still... so who knows?... Sci fi....series.... 80's movies/stuff..... fishing..
I do get addicted watching "legitimate" paranormal investigation channels on Youtube - although I'm not 100% sure if I believe them, and I don't do horror movies !.
Music:: Most things apart from rap.... anything from Country rock to 80's..... 90's.... to orchestral bands like Delain and Nightwish/Within Temptation etc.... Child of the 80's though
Reading:: Don't get as much time as I'd like to.... but Stephanie Meyer and JK Rowling.... plus Clan of The Cave Bear series... Jodie PIcot.... Twilight Series.... The Host....Harry Potter
Movies/TV:: Sci fi, Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, Farscape, Killjoys, Lucifer, True Blood, Game of Thrones, Westworld The Boys, Cobra Kai, The Witcher, Lost in Space, Stargate SG-1,Warehouse 13 - most things along those lines... Big nerd.... many things....
Food/dining:: Pizza!
Sports/fitness:: I breed and show shetland ponies/Miniature ponies and recently rejoined the gym after several years.

You sound interesting...I love horses and animals too. You must get a lot of fulfillment caring for animals as a vet nurse. I was interested in being a vet when I was a kid...but the idea of having to put animals to sleep at times when necessary...put me off. But I still love being around animals as much as I can I do love horses since I saw my first one...but I have never owned one. But I think it would be amazing to own a horse some day. I hope we can be friends if you'd like.

I can imagine why but I feel quite positive you don't want to know more about my imagination. I hope you will also describe your meaning of " a bit of a dag". Sounds promising to me. Animal lover yeeeaaaahhhh. Not that I have much to do with animals but I did own snack bars for around 17 years so a fair few came in off the street. But I love dogs, not that I have owned one for donkey years. Cant keep a good animal down. Unfortunately dogs don't live long enough. But Love is expressed directly from their eyes. Oh to find a lady who had dog's eyes. The other parts are terrifically yummy as they are. ed
