Things I like

Interests:

Studying chosen subjects to complete my B.A. after many years. Recently: East & South East Asian History & Politics, Australian & World Politics.
'Have had a pretty dull "career" (not, that's the trouble)(due to suffering Crohn's Disease most of my life), however I do my best and make the most of my work (in administrative support, governmental educational field).

Music:

Music: whatever happens to come along and attracts me for the moment - unusually for me, no hard & fast favourites really. Admired blues singers include Sara Vaughan & Billi Holliday. Roy Orbison had one terrific voice. Loved Led Zeppelin back in my teens & twenties. Like some classical too of course.

Reading:

Pulp fiction is not my thing, exception being Janet Evanovich now and then because her stuff is hysterical on occasion. Mix that with Markus Zusak's The Book Thief and 2nd hand old copy of The Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks, and you could say my tastes are pretty eclectic.

Movies/TV:

ABC & SBS. Commercials are hard to take, as are those chewing gum for the eyes programs like Dancing with the Stars, the talent shows and 90% of American sitcoms (2 1/2 men exception, but only now & then).
'Luther' on ABC is my current favourite because it appeals to the cerebral as well as mystery & the dramatic.

Food/dining:

Should substitute MCT prescription oil for other kinds since I've lost my ilium from scarring & subsequent surgical removal from Crohn's Disease.
I love Vietnamese food - that's about my number one favourite!

Sports/fitness:

I walk two dogs each day - very moderate. Plus I walk from the station to work & back. That's about it.
